Your podiatrist may create shoe inserts or apply strapping to effectively immobilize the affected area for a period of time. Several weeks maybe needed for the tendon to heal.
Medication such as Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID’s) along with the application of hot and cold can help too.
